Cyber Security Engineer

About The Position


We are seeking a talented and motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing effective security measures, analyzing potential risks, and ensuring the ongoing protection of our clients' digital assets. You will collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams to design and deploy security solutions that align with their unique needs. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, enhance your skills, and contribute to the success of our clients' cybersecurity strategies.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their security  equirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection. 
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats, investigate security incidents, and develop incident response plans.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure effective security measures are in place.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams regarding security best practices and risk mitigation strategies.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar security engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of network security, system hardening, and security protocols.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security-related tasks.
  • Knowledge of industry security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
